Soooo I owned a 2009 Mazdaspeed3 and a 1997 Tacoma. Both of which were manual transmissions. Tried to teach my wife how to drive a stick with limited success and I was tired of owning two vehicles (registration and insurance). I saw that the 2012 Tacoma's were hitting the stealerships and decided to see what they would give me for my Mazdaspeed3 in trade. After pissing of the dealership I got 17k in trade for the Mazda. 18k and change if you include the tax break. I got the 2011 Tacoma for 29500. They were sort of pissed at me that I would not take 15k for the Mazda.

Now its time for some mods. I was thinking of the following....

    1. Stacks because they are so cool. I have a hole saw that would be perfect for cutting up the composite bed. What is the diameter of a 2011 4.0 exhaust?

    2. Mud flaps with the big boob girl in chrome to go along with the stacks. Does anyone know where I can find a pair that fit my truck? I've looked everywhere.

    3. I was also thinking of painting the grill and rear bumper as I am not a big fan of chrome. I was thinking Black but my wife really thinks pink would be better and she has offered to perform oral sex on me if I follow her suggestions. I am really torn on this one. Do the make LineX or powder coat in pink?

so tell me what ya think.:D

I am assuming, and hoping at the same time, that you are joking with all the items on the future mod list.

I hope you paint the bumpers pink.. It wouldnt look bad, and it sounds like it'd be well worth it. No one would fault you for the color once they asked you why.

Yes I am being sarcastic, but this could be fun. Would anyone else care to post some "mods" like....
I heard if you put smaller less aggressive tires you will get better millage. Its a off road model so it should still do fine on the trails.

I am going to pipe my CAI out side my front grill to be sure it gets the coldest air possible.

    What I am doing is.
OME 884, Bilstein 5100 all around with a Deaver 1.5 AAL, and the leaf spring TSB. I had the TSB done with less than 400 miles on the truck. Dealer was great. I wanted to keep the lift under 2.5 up front because off the additional cost associated with UCA's and a new leaf pack to match the front lift. I got 2.5 inches of lift on the nose up front. I also did the Toytec 1/4 inch spacer on the drivers side. I plan on adding the AAL and rear shocks tomorrow.

    love these trucks.

Yea I sort of miss the Mazda. But I think I just want one vehicle and I have always had a need for a truck. I had a top speed of 134 in the Mazda. Great little car. But I think I prefer to just take my time and get there in one peace. I put a CAI in the Mazda and man launching that thing from a dead stop the car had trouble hooking up. Lots of power for a front wheel drive car.

Kick it in the ass and you'll smile. The 2010 model and up are really bad with the smiley face front fascia.
