Ideas for Rubber bedliner

Any ideas for a good cheap rubber floor to put in my bedliner. Are there any spray on products to maybe make it non-sliding. Tired of stuff sliding around! Or just go buy one

 

If you are looking for a cheap way out you can look on craigslist or go to the feed store and buy a "stall matt" They are rubber matts meant for the bottom of horse stalls. They can take anything you throw at them and you can find them for $20 apiece sometimes.

I bought the Tacoma bed mat from the dealer, but haggled with the parts manager until they matched what I could get it for on-line. Bout 80 bucks I think. Good luck.

 

A friend got a stall/horse mat .... cut it somewhat to fit. I have the OEM ... they wanted something like $118 ... got them down to $81 (go figure) ... for looks ... OEM ... both do the job well.

 

I went with the OEM mat. Threw it in and done. Hated things sliding around as well. Not that someone has not done it, but I have not seen anyone do a spray in yet. I guess if you scuff up the bottom of the bed and spray in a rubberized style of spray in bed liner and it adheres to the plastic it should work.

 

Big Lots has small ones in the auto section if you want cheap.
I have seen mats @ tractor supply.
JC Whitney sells cut to fit.
CL using searchtempest per your zipcode may find OEM used in your area or another brand that you can cut.
I got mine from dealer, he price matched an online price from another dealer.
It was like $90.
Used I have seen them for $50.
I kept mine and use in the tundra it is very heavy & good quality.

 

Try JCWhitney as Simon's Mom mentioned or Auto Anything. I think I got a heavy rubber mat for $60 shipped. It you want something spray in, look at Rustoleum Bedliner although it's not rubberized, it is textured. There are rubberized spray in bedliners but you'll spend more on a good DIY kit than you will for a rubber bed mat.

As mentioned, I found one on Craigslist for $50. A little dirty, but I ran through the carwash on the way home from picking it up. It is really handy. I'm sure the stall mat way is a little cheaper, but I like the OEM look, and I like not having to cut stall mat to fit.

 

There is no bed liner in the trucks the composite bed is the bed itself just saying....

Tractor Supply stall matting. Comes in 5 foot widths and sold by the foot, $5 a foot for the thicker stuff was $25 total for my short bed. Or you could get the thinner stuff for about $4 a foot if you want to save a little more. It's tough enough the thinner would probably work just as well.

A little trimming around the wheel wells and it looks great. I hauled about 12 loads (6-8 tons total) of broken brick and concrete rubble this summer and no marks were left on the mat even though my son and I just tossed the stuff into the bed.

 

bought the OEM for $80. They wanted $110. It is really nice and I have no regrets. Perfect fit and very heavy duty. The others I looked at were not that much less expensive. Some wanted you to cut them down to size,, and i was not comfortable with that. If you can pony up the $80 I would go for it. If you actually have a working truck that will be used for hauling stuff alot then go with what buddywh1 said.

 

Just take the plunge & get an OEM. No worries about cutting & fitting. I couldn't imagine not having mine.

i got a can of the Rhino liner stuff and just coated the ridges in the bed. works like a champ. but that shits a little expensive if you dont have some just laying around. i just used a half used can that we used to rhino line the fuel tank on the boat i worked on. (so it was fo free)

 

Are they bbs wheels?

 

Don't buy junk for your Toyota. Look at Bedrug.com you will be very happy with it.
