Just checked with the dealership I got my truck at regarding TRD Catback exhaust and TRD cai. I was told that due to some changes to the 09, nothing TRD has at the moment will work. He said it could take up to 12 months for these guys to come up with the proper fitting units. Any 09 exhaust mod's out there? I'd love some feedback on this TRD info.

    getting there....
he may have been blowing smoke. they didnt change the motor,so the intake will still work, and the exhaust should still fit like it does on the 05 to 08's.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
ditto.....i traded my 07 for my 09 and there are no differences. sounds like that local dealer has their head stuck somewhere and needs to update their lists like other accessory places online

Dealership told my GF that her Grand Cherokee needs new suspension cause the one on there is rusted and will bust if she goes over a bump.

Told her to tell them to get fucked.

Took it to my mechanic and he said it's all fine. Didn't even charge her for looking at it. (Although I mistakenly told them she needed an oil change, and she had one done 2 weeks ago.) Whoops.

I had the TRD cat back installed at the dealership when I bought my 09 about a month ago. TRD CAI was an option too but I decided against it.

It's probably just a matter of when then parts guy looked up the parts, the computer listed 05-08, and the listing just hasn't been updated.

Most parts guys won't go any further than what they read.

Parts people just aren't what they used to be decades ago. I once worked with a guy at a parts counter that spent an hour finding me a transfer case seal to fit my 78 bronco that they said wasn't in stock.

I had my old seal in hand, and he got out the calipers and the cross reference guide and worked until he found me a replacement seal.

    A few bolts are different.
if they were smart they would work harder selling parts too!! they all have huge mark-ups for more earning potentials from the Tards who buy them from the dealer.
