Is this price right BOB ?

hey guys
so i end up at the dealer today looking at a 2012 tacoma double cab 4x4 trd sport long bed with entune in megnatic grey. they didnt have a grey 1 in stock but could have it for me on monday, quoted price 33,400 my question is,is this a fair price ?

Hi, I'm looking to buy the same truck in Washington. The lowest price I have found so far is $32,250 + tax & title (which is alot in Washington). Let me know what you end up getting it for. With any luck, I'll have mine this weekend!

So I just checked on the truck you are looking for and I am not saying that we have the lowest price around or anything but we have the truck you are looking at as well, we offer it for $33,020. That is our internet price which means it is pretty much the lowest we will sell it for.
*check your dealerships website because they will possibly have a lower price online (which they have to honor) They price them cheaper online to get you in the door.

so i check out TRUCAR and they gave me 2 dealers that showed they would sell truck for low 31gs , called them both and guess what they couldnt make it happen. still trying to hunt down this truck at a fair price . from everything ive seen i should be able to buy it around 32,500ish

 

I think if you keep searching then you will be able to come close to what your looking for. Make the dealers fight for your business. Get some quotes and share them with the other dealers and make them earn your business. If you have any questions you can pm me. I work at the dealership so I can help you out however I can.

i found 1 about a couple hundred miles away think im gona go git it this weekend.
what could i do to guarantee them to hold it for me and git the price they quoted ?

 

They probably will not hold it unless you put a deposit down on it, you can do that over the phone with a credit card or during the same day you talk to them they will possibly hold it. And as for the quote they give you, unless it is in print they dont have to honor the quote... and even the printed quotes will say somewhere in the fine print that the quote is only honored for "X" amount of days/time.... if you like the price online make sure you print out the information on the truck. If they see you with a mess load of information about that particular truck then they will know that you are knowlagable about the truck and they cant hassle you as they would be able to mess with a customer that hasn't done any research. If you get a written quote, be sure they sign it and that it displays the miles on the vehicle. Don't want to get burned finding out when you show up that it was a dealer demo.
