I'm not a chrome hater, but painting the two small chrome pieces on the front bumper really cleaned it up.
I have held off on changing the dash lights, but your thread almost has me there. What made you decide to switch from blue to white?

thanks i like the front end like that too just seems simpler.

oh and the dash lights i liked the blue but with alot of mods i do i always end up changing them later. blue seemed too ricey like on a honda or something so i did led white. its like it could be stock but its not. jus seems cleaner to me. i always do mods a little crazy at first then change them later to make them more subtle.

 

Sick truck and keep up the good work!!! But how did you paint over your chrome/hows the paint holding? Did you just sand it down real good clean it and paint it?

 

thanks! paints holding good. basically cleaned it with windex, then wipe down with microfiber cloth, then about 4 to 5 light coats of flat black spray paint(first 2 coats will be spotty its good because it makes it stronger just light dust coats till full coverage. i didnt sand them but you could if desired. i brushed one on a tree parking and it didnt do a thing to the paint

sooooo i was on my way to work but as i came down the hill to the freeway i noticed a decent sized fire on the hillside (with homes at top of hill) and me and two other guys jumped out and put out the fire surprisingly, it was tits but then once i got on the freeway, i was forced to lock up the brakes when a bunch of rave goers crash on the freeway and i rearended a car then they jus took of as i pulled over. so trucks now in collision center for 2 weeks 2k damage

 

What kind of lights are these? Ive been looking for some
