My 2010 has the same problem too. All the dealer do is reset and it will go off for awhile but eventually come back. This has been going on for entire time I had the truck since new. Oh it came on yesterday after a two months break. Happy holiday!

Cold weather can lower air pressure in the tires , setting the sensor off .

If all the tires are correct PSI, including spare, take it in. My dads Tacoma has issues with the sensors all the time going out on him. Don't know why his always had problems.

does it matter other then its annoying to look at? tire place just told me no tpms fits my new wheels without risk of it breaking on tire removal or a serious pothole. Im just gonna go wit out them.

Nope- Doesn't matter. Altho you can get a strap kit to fit any TPMS sensor into any rim.

I know cold weather plays a role too, but this has been going on since I bought the truck. No biggie but annoying.

Nope when I got my new wheels they broke one of my tpms and had to order special ones that are set at a different angle to fit aftermarket wheels. Cost them over 4 bills I didn't pay a dime.
