Does it matter how much a bumper weighs with the Eibach/5100 front lift? I don't want it to sag! Any recommendations for my long bed Pyrite Mica?

There are lots of great vendors on here that make plate bumpers and tube bumpers for your truck. Look under the vendor section. Eibachs are 620 lb coils so they are will take the weight of a plate bumper without a problem. Look around on here, they are plenty of trucks running Eibachs and plate bumpers or tube bumpers. I am sure one of them will chime in eventually.

arb is is going to offer the most protection. this is true they designed the bumper to be crash tested it absorbs the impact instead of just transferring it straight through the passenger compartment.

they are beefy as shit and widely available the choice is easy. i personally like relentless fab as do a ton of other members on here as well eric makes a hell of a bumper.

and yes your spring rate must be taken into account when going with a plate steel bumper for sure. if you throw the arb on stock springs you will be in trouble lol.

for the lift i would suggest you call down south motor sports they can set you up with the appropriate parts for your set-up. also keep in mind any future additions to the truck ie. winch skids and anything else that would add a significant amount of weight because you should take that into consideration when buying as well.

for the bumpers though imo it's arb or relentless for the win.

I think I'm going to go with ARB. I just have to find a cheap place to buy one to make this insurance stuff work out.

4wheelparts had a promo where you get free set of IPF lights with purchase of an ARB bumper. ( there are 2 styles FYI, one the deluxe with the fog lights and one without ) I was planning to go ARB myself, but I ended up going another route as the ARB stuck out from the front a lot compared to other bumper and the weight issue. But for impacts they can't be beat. Good luck with your purchase, post up some pics when you get it done!
