I actually don't need to notch that section anymore. Lol. I installed it all last night after getting another bolt for the radiator mount. I just need one or two pieces of aluminum then for the braces. I was looking at lowes last night, but wanted more opinions before getting something. The aluminum is flimsy tho so I don't know if it would be rigid enough to make It even work. Ya know.

This is true.. it wasn't helping that you guys kept distracting me.. it got worse after that too.. my stereo stopped working. Haha. Yesterday I had to re wire the stereo power and lights. But got them all working AND installed those rocker switches. :)

So let's tackle some rock lights. Lol.

so, the header is fine, the only hangers is by the cat, and then by the back tube what comes out behind the rear wheel, no hangers in between. the muffler rattles and bounces. i need to weld a hanger, and ive just concluded with my 20 minutes of welder experience that my welds are NOT going to cut it. yet.

any of you westishsiders weld worth a shit? cant really drive as it bounces it throws o2, causes engine to think loss of pressure cause of no back pressure, and sucks fuel like its the new cool thing. ugh.

my $200 harbor freight wirefeed/flux core welder is probably somewhat to blame. i weld in berries :D

I think I could glue it together for ya!

Any way so Having A what I think serious problem with my 4wd I think.

It works fine in the dirt but I just tested what I had thought I felt.

When I engage 4hi with the hubs locked going STRAIGHT on pavement the front end starts vibrate and the truck slows down like something is binding up, I hear no noises other than the vibration... I just jacked up the truck and checked for anything loose, checked the driveshaft rotations.... ugh...... :( :(

I don't know what to do

Believe me there are times I start thinking about a 4wd conversion. 4wd LT is baller. But I just dont think I would have much use for it. I like the open desert over rock crawling

Garrett... are you sure the diff's are the same ratio? It almost sounds like it's binding because they're turning at a different rate... but that's pure speculation.

Thats kinda what i have it narrowed down too from just my troubleshooting under there, its the only thing I can think of, I just need a more exact way to check it or someone who knows what they are doing.. because it definitely feels like binding, but I thought if I had different gear ratio's it wouldn't go without tire chirping?

This weekend Ill lift the front end up and drain the front diff, poke my head in there and count the teeth... oh I am not going to be a happy camper if it has a different gear ratio  :(

    most amazing post EVAR.

I read the first 5 pages of the thread, then skipped to this page. It seems I didn't miss much. I don't have anything to add, so I'll tell you a little story.

Once upon a time, when I was say, 19, I had a girlfriend that I thought was "the one." We went out for a while and I did things for her like cooked and took her to movies and held her hand. We fucked like rabbits. Rabbits on Viagra. One day, after a walk in the park on a crisp autumn afternoon, she told me she wanted to see other people. She said I had become "predictable."

Obviously, I was crestfallen. My world shattered around me. In a plea of desperation, I asked her if we could at least have Goodbye Sex, which she begrudgingly agreed to. Since we were both at home with our parents from college, we drove to the spot out on the edge of town where we always snuck off.

We both stripped down and started going at it, fogging things up. I asked her, "mind if we do it on the hood? I want to look up at the stars during our last time." She rolled her eyes and hopped off me and opened the passenger door. As she got out of the car I stepped on the fucking gas and left her stupid ass naked in the middle of nowhere while screaming out the window "Predict that shit, bitch!"

    True story.
