Slightly darker maybe.... Sidemarker lights were never that bright to begin with, IMO. That's why I modded my turn signals to come on with my sidemarkers. The turn signals definitely blink bright enough to be seen. Also, you can tape off those sections it you want... I didn't think about that until later.

Brighter aftermarket bulbs are really cheap (<$20) if you find any of your lights are too dim after the mod.

small dent on the hood, new foglight bulb, roughed up bedliner, been smoked in, suspicious stains on the passenger seat, boogers on the drivers seat, dirty floor mats, girl doodles on the dirty windows, loose wiring
i tinted my turn signal covers black as night, and they are definately not as bright as they were before but still enough to see them during the daytime. i left my orange reflectors in, and painting the housing black had no affect on the pattern or strength of the headlight beams themselves

So I tried the BHLM knowin that if I pulled a TurdTaco, that I could buy these and I am so glad I tried. Another BHLM completed. Although I am having a hell of a time getting that 4th screw in, and the wire thing behind the main headlight, forget about it, the rubber tubing is secure enough.

What do you mean by the wire thing? The bulb has to go in one way only, and the wire thing has a hook that should just slip under a notch..... Post a pic maybe? You don't want the bulb to vibrate out while driving. The rubber gasket is only to keep water out, not the bulb in.

Hmm, I see what you are saying, I think we are talking about the same thing, but my wire thing broke off becuase the tab that secures essentially melted, i think the wire conducted too much heat and broke the notch, both times.

Im usually a Hands on person and like to get into things like motors and such but I dont like messing with headlights so I decided to buy these. So far no complaints, I just put the orange parking and turning signal bulbs back in because I like that look at night. No fogging, no weird light pattern, no fitment issues.

The only complaint is that there is a bit of dirt inside the headlight that could have been cleaned out prior to the lens going back on, but I am able to get over it. Here are some pics:

oh... that's not good! I just left them loose on mine until I put the bulbs back in... Never really thought that would happen. I was just being lazy... :D

Maybe screw a small screw into the plastic where the wire would've clipped down?

just ghetto-rig something onto it to make sure the bulb doesn't come loose and you'll be fine

I'd love to see what that looks like installed as well + how the fitment is...

Get those answers to me, and I might jump on the band waggon!

Now I'm tempted to swap my chrome grill for a black one & get these lights. They look pretty cool.
