Been seeing eyelids for the 2nd gens and I really like the look. I drew up something today on paint. Do yall think this would look good?

Eh, maybe. I'd have to see it actually on a truck and I think it would only look good on a truck with a color matched grill.

Not trying to shit on your parade, I love the eyelids on the second gens. Just not sure how it would look on the rounded front ends of the 1st gens.

Generally the eyelids are colour matched to the body and not the black of the grille , no ?

I don't think that it would work to well. Try getting a piece of paper and coloring it black or whatever color and cut it out to the shape you want and sticking it on with tape.

IMO the eye lids wouldn't look good on a 1st gen. The 2nd gens have the right shape to the headlight assembly.

I'd say no. I like the distinction between 1st and 2nd gens and I don't think everything ought to be done to both. But it's your truck, you customize it how you like.

It might work if it is color matched to the grill color.

How about something like this where you just continue the thickness of the top part of the grill.

Just an idea though for OP. I don't think I would ever do it.

    Not feeling it.

It's a truck. Not a Honda Civic hatchback that sounds like it's shitting its pants running down the highway at 55 mph

Besides, won't the eyelids block light output from the headlights? Function over fashion, brosef.

    Just my $0.02

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
With the first Gen headlight size and design, you'd be cutting off light output. I say no.
