    Hahaha. Nice..

So I got the truck back from the dealer. Looks fucking amazing! When they drove It around for me I was inside (got my diff breather parts) and they drove It around to the used sale lot thinking it was a new trade in. They detailed EVERYTHING.. they got all the mud and sand out from the past few weekends. For 189.. its a pretty good deal imo.. it looks brand new. The engine compartment is cleaner than when I bought it. Lol

I repainted behind the grill, the lower valence and mesh. The lights are all done. Switches work..

    I is a happy Taco owner. :D

Plus, who cares what I do with my money. If I want to spend 500 to clean my truck I will. It's what makes me happy in the end. and thats what matters.

Yeah after we did our meet and greet to crown king last year I did the same and it looked sharp. I was suprised. 10 times better then 20 washes at super star, etc... Then the service writer told me anytime I need a wash just drive around back to the wash area and they would do it for free any time I needed a regualr wash.

NICE... I will probably see about getting a full on detail here soon. I do like the look for my truck nice and clean... Then I usually go out and cover it with mud. LoL I will have a good cleaning and coat of wax put on before summer hits.

you can do open desert with 4wd though. best of both worlds.

go in the dirt, mark all the tires with chalk drive 10 feet STRAIGHT. if the chalk is in different positions on the front and rear tires, the gearing is different.

i was just thinking normal wash hahaha. my bad:)

90% of the time locked 2wd is just fine in open desert...as I have found out here in SoCal. Sycamore wash falling into that 10% category of course. Having the 88 is my reason for making it to Crown King, Butcher etc. With all the extra parts of 4wd it's risky business at 50mph+ in 4hi.

theres 100s of other places here that you need 4wd to get too, but has open desert running along the way. the wash at sycamore is really just the beginning of sycamore. theres so so so much more than you havent seen because your only 2wd. you can go all the way to the verde, crystal rock, firemans hill, mesquite wash. then we got the rest of butcher jones, the harder 4wd trails, box canyon etc.

theres so many more places, just need 4wd to get there

Most of AZ requires 4wd yes. Also, I'm no longer restricted to "only 2wd" AZ doesn't have much to offer for true wide open trail speed run. So far every where I have gone here there's not a single question that I'll make terrain, even up hills. And for jumping sake 2wd will always yield more front end travel. Come out to Barstow man and romp with us. You'll never touch your 4wd

Come out anywhere but Barstow and your 2wd will never touch our 4wd. LoL :D

it doesnt have much to offer for only 2wd runs, but i can do a run where im 60mph+ 70 percent of the time, 5 percent of the time i need 4wd.

and not always will you get more travel with a 2wd, 4wd you can get like 13.5 out of 4wd, almost the same with 2wd unless you go custom.

yeah i wont touch my 4wd most likely, but lets say i get high centered on a bush.... ill be able to get off of it, and you wont:)

oh weird, cause my 4x4 will :D

edit: funny how you guys neglect the fact that both trucks in my sig are mine. 1 for high speed runs. 1 for rutted trails. Exploring is fun and all, but I like ripping 80+ through the desert more often.

but were talkiing 2wd vs 4wd here. so now you just admitted 4wd is the way to go:)

Not the case for what I do out here. I don't get stuck here. If 4wd is so crucial then trophy trucks would have 4wd. Where are most events held for trophy trucks? Here. Not AZ, cause you can't go fast over rutted ass hills.

but for all around 4wd is better. obviously:D

because trophy trucks have 26+ inches of travel and can do 130+ over anything and make it up anything.

you can go fast over rutted ass hills if you have 26 inches of travel.
