I traded in the taco for a Tundra I did stay with the family just went with the big brother. I had to due to the power that the taco doesn't have. The camper I have is about 5900 lbs and it doesn't like it at all. I will have to put the brake control on and test it out with the 5.7L Tundra. I love this site and would like to fine one for the Tundra that is close to being as good as this one cause I now there is nothing like TW.

    Congrats on the new Tundra!!
I did the same thing a couple of months ago. Love it.
If you haven't post up pics in the tundra owners thread and no reason to leave as other mentioned.
Tundra Talk/TundraSolutions seem to have the most activity which equal about 15+/- threads a day.
As far as steps, I went with Black Raptors & bought a colormatched grill from Sparks.

Nice. I like the Tundra too, but it wouldn't fit in my garage....

Thinking about doing the same thing, been eyeballing an '11 Tundra in Rock Warrior trim, I REALLY like it.

Still thinking about the MPG and the garage space I'd lose, though.

That's the fun of it. It's like a new blank canvas sitting there ready to be made into your own rendition of a great truck.
Like the Tundra, they are a great truck.

That is what I was thinking since I get shitty fuel mileage with the Taco I might as well get a full size truck with the power the Taco doesn't have and have the same mileage and it is just bigger.

Very nice! Tundras look so good in black.

They can get good fuel economy with that 5.7 too. With careful application of the throttle and using the autostick to keep the rpms down it's not difficult to stay in the 18-19 mpg range unloaded.

Then again, if you feel the need to experience that 401 ft-lb of torque, again and again.... well lets say it has ample ability to burn as much fuel as possible for as long as you want it :)

I've towed a lighter trailer (about 4000#) with the tundra and it was such a laid-back experience. It felt as stable as a 5th wheel with a load distribution hitch.
