    Christmas is going to be my big holiday this year. I am off, my sister is visiting from TX, and I have the following week off. I was researching exotic meats such as lion, antelope, elk something along those lines. Of course something like that at over $50 a lb would just be a nice little morsel just to say you ate it. But then of course I am going to hit up the butcher's shop for some aged porterhouse and ribeyes for a Texas style steak cookout.

    Some good looking Thanksgiving Day pics out there. Did no cooking had to work, what a crazy day. Ended up eating at almost 9 at my dads. Going to have to cook something good this weekend.

    Just put a pork shoulder on the smoker. It'll smoke for about 6 hours and then into the oven for another 4-6 or so.

    Took some pics of prep, and I'll post the complete process with some results photos when it's done!
