    OK,so I hear that most of you will buy your parts from 4wheelparts,but you won't let them touch your tacos.Who do you trust.Are you a do it yourself dude? Who do you recomend? Thanks in advance. ;)

    I would do it myself.But I'll be the first to admit that I am mechanicly challenged.Some small things I'll give it a go,but other things I'll probably end up installing totally the wrong freaking way.So I'd rather pay to have it done right the first time then paying twice to undo my Fup.

    I do as much as I can my self! With the help of the how two's from the forum and members I haven't ran into anything I cant do.. If I do run into something my good friend owns a body shop that has a great mechanic in house! Nice to know people!

    I knew a dude like that back in the day.We were all into the Toyota Celica.Duel Carbs-Eibach suspensions - Racing cams this dude knew it all. Nice to have around.And he worked on my( believe it or not )my convirtable yes convirtable toyota 4x4.Is good to know people:D

    i only trust myself. A lot of mechanics have the not mine not my problem mentality and will do it in a fast half assed way so i wont risk it. my friend got his s10 out of the chevy dealer for regular tune up and tire rotation, they didnt torque the lugs on his front tire and the wheel fell of on the freeway. bad day

    I wish I could do that sometimes.But when it comes to major work,like a lift,they want you to drop the truck off.(Just gotta hope and pray you left your truck in good hands.

    i try to do everything my self, but when i cant i usually take it to brake masters, the store manager is my step dads best friend, very smart. my step brother also works there and hes really smart too.

    i also trust bytor truck with my truck too.

    thats it though.

    not one touches my truck with a wrench but me unless it's a safety recall or transmission work I'll leave that stuff for toyota to deal with. As far as Mods go I do it all my self or with a trusted friend to lend a hand.
