Had the Dynapros for a about a month. They actually see quieter and cushier than the stock dueler hts. I got the Ps and for the most part no regrets except one. I was talked into getting them siped but foun out after the fact that they are pre siped. Now I'm worried about chunking as its siped on top on sipes.

Why do you take it personally if somebody doesn't like these tires ?

Not many products get a 100% approval rating .

    Who cares ?

    wow David K,

as i stated yesterday and the day before...

David K, what is so negative about my above comments? I'm asking this because i saw this that you wrote..

i have previously positively commented many times that i loved my Hankooks when i had them . and not only have i said how well i liked them many times here at TW i have also replied favorably about the Hankooks at other forums besides Tacoma World.

do me favor David K. do a search of my username and Hankook tires, see how many times in the past that i spoke favorably about the Hankooks. and do the same for TTORA, Pirate4x4, and FJCruiserForums.

i wont give references from other forums as i don't want to carry over other forum stuff to TW but there are plenty of positive replies out there that i have made regarding the Hankooks.
here's a random one at TW from2 years ago,
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/59741-im-set-hankook-dynapro-but-2.html#post1100570

challenge to you David K, show me where i have stated anything that's negative about the Hankooks.

i will say it again, i loved my Hankooks when i had them. they were a great tire for me and handled well on the trail, rain and snow.

i never said i didn't like them..in fact, it's the total opposite regarding the MT's. i thought those were excellent tires when i had them..3 sets of them starting with LT285/75 and then moving up to having 2 sets in LT315/75. if i didnt like those tires then why would i have bought 3 separate sets of those tires :cookiemonster:

My Hankooks have been on for 20k miles and have been through two winters where they performed flawlessly. They still look close to new.

It's a discussion board guys... just saying... Nothing taken personally. It does seem weird to read in one thread how they are 'bad tires' and in another, the same people say they are good tires? At least I am consistant with my posts. If the Hankooks become less than I have stated of them (as I add miles onto them), I will post the honest findings... I believe that would be of the most service to TW members, yes?
    Have a great weekend!

Must be my Thanksgiving hangover? I guess we are all* on the same page about Hankook being a really good tire brand for Tacomas then?

(* except the ~2-3 people in the other thread, right?) ;)

and everyone is entiltled to having and stating their opinions wither it's good or bad based on their actual experience in having Hankook brand tires...I believe that would be of the most service to TW members, yes?

I've had both on my Tacoma and in my opinion they are two rather different tires. The Hankooks are much more of a street tread. They ride quieter and smoother but do not have nearly as good of traction in snow and dirt. I really like my Duratracs I have on now and would probably buy them again but my next tires might be a little more street orientated. I do go offroad quite a bit but nothing too extreme.

Thanks for all the input guys. I just ordered the Hankooks after much (too much?) deliberation. I really like the Duratracs but the Hankooks won on price.
