I didnt realize it until I got home and looked at the box. As some of you know I went to go get a new laptop since mine died. Well i waited in line got the third voucher of 30, was stoked as all get out! I get to the cash register to claim and they ask if i want the one already set up for 67$ more or the one that isnt. I told them i would do it myself and give me the cheaper one. I get my laptop go home and crash that mess is exhausting. I wake up excited to setup my new laptop and see a sticker on the box that says PC setup and restore CD... they gave me the one already setup and ready to go!!!!!! :woot::yay::yay::yay:

    BEST WRONG ITEM EVER!!!!!!!

here's a tip for you guys.. based on, back in the day, when I worked at best buy in the computers section...

on Black Friday, we sold dirt cheap computers. Obviously, the only way they could make some of that money back was to install extra software, charge for "optimization" (ie. removing all the crap applications), etc. Services are pretty much 100% margin. Well with 50+ computers, we obviously couldn't do that during black friday morning. So, we installed and optimized a little more than half of them, and took the wager that we could upsell the services. Sometimes we did them all, just to be safe. We put a "X" or sticker, etc. on the box so we knew which ones were done and which ones were not.

Everytime we sold a computer with the extras, we'd give them the box with the "X" marked. Everytime we sold one without the extras, they'd get the box without the "X" marked. Obviously, if you came last and all we had left were the ones already worked on, we were obligated to sell it to you for the cheaper price.

You just lucked out. Congrats! :)
