Info on daystar front strut spacers?

Thinking about getting some 1.5 inch lift spacers anybody know anything bout em?

 

They are just about about the lowest quality lift you can buy. Plus those are polyurethane, not even metal spacers right?

 

yep, they are poly...

surprisingly they hold up though... i had a set on my truck for a year before stepping up to adjustable coilovers...

IMO...if you go spacers, go poly, not metal.

Putting metal spacers in your suspension is kinda....eh...at least the poly will absorb vibration and dampen anything.

Do you mean what leaf pack? Or do you want tips on what to do with the back?

There are alot better options for the front if you have the money (spacers, in general suck) What is your budget?

If your wanting to look like a real truck, IMO go buy a fullsize but since your budget isnt what we all would want then i would say to just save up some more pennies and at least get adjustable bilsteins and an AAL over the spacer, you will be into it about $250-300 and have a decent quality lift! my .02

I would take my tacoma, or any other 1st gen over any truck in the world, regardless of the amount of money I would have to spend.

to the OP:

Like 01tacoma said, save up a few more bucks and run bilstein 5100's (they are adjustable for lift) and are $170, and buy an Add a leaf for the rear (like $80, toytec makes one for 2'')

So you can run the bilsteins on 2.5'' and the AAL for 2'' and be level, all for about $300. A spacer and block lift will barley be any cheaper, and alot worse for your truck.

well, from judging from the picture you have a 5-lug. No lifts for tacoma 4wd's will work with your truck.

You can do an AAL in the rear, but will either need spacers up front or a spindle lift.

 

Not at all does a fullsize truck make it a real truck but in most peoples eyes thats what they think/see....I too would take my taco over anything else made even with it being IFS... even IFS can do a shit ton more things that other *fullsize* trucks cant...hell just wait till SAS comes into play and it will be almost unstopable! To me its all about how its built!

Son of a bitch. Good think I didn't find them or else I probably would have those rather than my spindles.

It's really your choice. Everyone here will tell you not to get spacers. If you're like me, you'll think "eh how bad can they be. I'm doing it anyway for the price" I can't personally speak for them because I've never had them but from what I hear the ride will wear on you until you just ditch them for a better option. The choice is yours, but I'd say go with spindles.
