picked up my 2012 DCSB 4x4 off road MT today. Driven it about 30 miles so far.

First of all, its a sick truck. So awesome, I love it. Rides nice, lots of power.
    I'm tripping balls.

The MT transmission is a bit rough but its probably me, kind of rusty on the manual. If anyone has some suggestions on the clutch timing and all that let me know.

The 6th speed is DEFINITELY geared too low. 5th and 6th are pretty much the same. Cruisin at 60 mph and 2000 rpm can't be good for MPGs. Nice to be able to accelerate on hills in 6th but still it should be higher.

    I'll post pics later.

Looks good, what color did you get? Are all of the center consoles that graphite color now?

What does "tripping balls" mean? Doesn't sound like a pleasant analogy to me.

Not to encourage off-topic activity, but I think I first heard that phrase on Harold and Kumar. Neil Patrick Harris' character.......

my interior is the same as above but with the vinyl flooring. I really like the flooring. Sorry I haven't had time to get up pics. I'll try tomorrow.

As for tripping balls, its the feeling you get when you get a 2012 DCSB TRD offroad 4x4 after an 8 year old toyota tercel was your first car, then a 1989 corolla, then a 1987 toyota truck (super stoked on that one but it got stolen and completely stripped), then a 1997 used toyota 4runner. You trip frickin balls.

I can't stop looking at it....

Oh one more thing, today I noticed that I have 3 rear leaf springs not 4. I thought there was suppose to be 4. I dunno....

Ok I lied, one more thing. Today I noticed the manual transmission shifts way smoother if you rev up to 2500 rather than 2000 when you shift. I'm starting to dream of a short shifter.

Didn't feel comfortable trying to pull it apart yet. This is a shot of the cable in the back of the mirror housing. Not sure it will help you much.

I'm confused. You pictured an Access Cab TRD Sport, but then you state its a Double Cab Short Bed TRD Offroad. I like the color anyway, congrats.

edit: nvm, I'm an idiot. thought those were your pics

I'll give it another try later. So you are looking for a pic of the connector that plugs in the back of the mirror not the connector in the headliner, right?
