Weight wise the MTR's weigh in at 67lbs a tire the TSL radials are 70lbs a tire not a huge difference. The truck seems to turn the swamper a little easier and brakes better with them as well.

I started working on installing the Tacobox last Wed. pulled the drivelines and got them to the shop to be worked over they won't be back till end of the week.

So with that I have been taking my time to get things right I went ahead and deleted the 4wd ECU. I still have more wiring to do for the ADD switch and extending the sensor wires for the speedo and 4wd/low sensors. Notice in the pic only the low light is on and not the 4wd light.

I will post a more in depth write-up in the near future. At this point everything is mocked up and I was able to get the TC clocked at 15*degrees.

I still have a ton of work left to do but I'm getting closer to being done.

Looks like you've got plenty of clearance. The part that you cut.. Do you need to weld some sheet metal over that or is there still enough to keep it sealed?

I'm getting a lot closer to being ready to commit to this project. First dc lb fj case and crawler box?

Its one of the channels that I cut out everybody has been just cutting and beating that piece flat, for mine I just removed the piece it has another layer of metal and is sealed.

We'll call yours the crawler limo when you do the swap.

Some new pics of the Tacobox installed and shifters for the twinsticks are built. I plan to dogleg the crawler shifter this weekend and finish some more wiring for the ADD. My drivelines are done I may be able to pick them up tomorrow if not I pick them Monday.
