So, I've been looking at MB 72 for the taco, but there's not a lot of folks who run them. They seem like a nice alloy rim, and don't cost much more than steelies. SAme look at AR Mojaves but not teflon coated (so more black than gray). Any downsides to them? Should stick out about 1/2" more than my OR alloys for a little meaner look, too. DTD has them for about $400 shipped for a set with new lug nuts. Thinking about pushing the button and selling my OR alloys.

Any thoughts or opinions on these?

My truck basically a factory SR5 DC with tinted windows.

They will stick out 2.5" more than your TRD offroad alloys. 1" due to the decreased backspacing, and 1.5" more due to the increased width.

Hmm, thanks for the clarification. I don't like the look of wheels like the Revolvers that seem to stick out several inches past the fenders but the pics I've seen of the MBs installed seem to edge out barely past the flares. Hard to find good images though.

Here's a pic of some, though they look like 17s perhaps. Don't stick out really, though they might have a different offset.

Anyone else have a good shot of 16s along the side of the truck to show spacing?

The pics of the mb wheels you have seen may have had different specs than the link you posted.

I know the revolvers, etc you are talking about. Those have 4.5" backspacing and are 9" wide. The wheels you posted have 4.5" bs and 8.5" wide, so they will only stick out 0.5" less than the revolvers.

Did a quick measure on the truck with my Hankooks. Looks like an additional 2.5" would give me about an inch of tread outside of the mud flap. Don't think I could handle the gravel bouncing off the sides of the truck. Guess I'll stick with the factory alloys for now.
