Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Great episode and great mid-season finale! That last scene was so awesome IMO. WTF is Herschell gonna do now that they pretty much gave him the rudest awakening ever!!!! lol

Shane was right in everything he said. I was glad he took that hardline approach to the situation. It made for some great television.

 

What he did was reckless and stupid I think once he Saw Sophia he kinda realized what he is becoming and Rick stepped up like the leader had did what nobody else could of done

 

Shane was both rigth and wrong. Yes its stupid to have such a danger in 'storage' no less, and to risk themselves to corralle them into the barn when they are not cureable (doubtfully anyway) and are dead, yet they weren't in any real immediate danger, like Rick said, they didn't even know they were there till that morning.

Shane is a douche, but he was both right and wrong, right stance, wrong way about it. I know I'd have a hard time sleeping in a tent knowing something that wanted to eat me alive was not very far away.

The episode was ok, I was hoping with all the time wasted at the farm they'd find Sophia hiding out with another group that would bring some new dynamic to the show. I think they're gonna pack up and leave and that Maggie will be in tow now that she's addicted to that Pork Egg Roll.

 

I believe they are waiting until February, because of the holidays. With everyone traveling and celebrating, they dont want anyone to miss the rest of the season.

as for the episode...............DAMN!

this goes back to my statement that the writer has little connection to the characters and can remove them at will. somewhat unlike the comics.

it has almost become irrelevant if the comics are discussed in here now.

...Sofia is still alive after 86 issues.

there are similarities to the comic, but not many anymore.

but, with this episode, it appears that rick may becoming more like the character in the comic.

i dunno but he better have one hell of a grand entrance in the first episode after the break cause you know he will stir some shit up

i would think if he did come back, that he would be in a rival gang of survivors and then we have a little confrontation where baby brother has to decide who to continue with.

Big question is when will they move the show to lifetime network?

i think most people are just to hard on the show....it wouldnt of made it past the first season if all they did was cap walkers in the head for a hour

 

I agree, without a story, it's pointless and we wouldn't be talking about it now would we?
I liked the twist at the end, good to see Rick show he's more of a man than Shane, Herschell is a broken man, that can only make things worse.

For those of you who think there is too much drama in the Walking Dead, rent Zombieland, watch, rinse, and repeat. From a self proclaimed zombie afficionado, if all there was to the WD was zombie killing, it would not last on TV for longer than 1 season, and would be better made for the big screen as a 2 hour pill.

Hitting this thread every week claiming to hate the show is alot like my 6 year old son complaining that it hurts when he does "__fill in the blank__". Well then, stop doing it!

i think hershals eyes may have been opened at the end of the episode when he saw the girl

 

That or Shane's demonstration of how a zombie chick in her pjs could take 5 bullets to the chest and still keep coming.
