Computer chip mod for better gas mileage

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    I remember reading some posts awhile back and someone mentioned a computer chip mod that will boost the 4 cylinder gas mileage over 30mpg, can someone direct me to where these are sold? Do they really work for certain?

    Doesn't exist... There is no "chip" that will get you massive gains in anything on a gasoline engine. The APR X-1 for the V6 is north of $1k and squeezes out about 25 horse. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, on a full gas tank even.

    No computer chip is going to boost your MPG's. Driving with a light foot, having responsible tires and keeping up with maintenance is the best you can do.

    I also have a 4 banger so you need to pay better attention as well! Not everything on this forum is in regard to a 2nd gen V6.

    I am not inquiring about anything URD sells. I realize the AEM would most likely work, trying to get feedback from people with experience with the actual items.
