    has anyone tried it. its $91 vs. $700 for a new rack. if anyone has please tell me cause i really dont have the money right now to by a new one

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    I am assuming you are talkign about rack and pinion rebuild kit, right? which company some are good some are junky. Otherwise if you know what you doing its money saver for sure.

    my grandpa has redone a few in his time. none for a toyota but others over the years. he said he would help me go though it. it has 133000 miles on it so its about time i think

    well there is nothing wrong with mine. besides the outer seals leaking. thats the reason i just wanna put a seal kit in it

    well i tackled it this weekend. wasnt to bad. still gotta couple of things to work out but other than that, it doesnt leak.
