    3" suspension lift (via coilovers) plus 3" body lift?

    6" drop bracket with coilovers?

    I know the pros and cons of both choices, as well as no lift at all but I want to know what the consenus is on what people think is worst of the two.

    they're pretty much equally bad IMO, but at least you can reverse the body lift easily.

    Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
    Body lifts suck ass, but honestly so do drop brackets. :eek:




    Body lifts are worse.

    Well that really depends on what you want to use it for..

    I have had good first hand experience with body lifts. No first hand with drop bracket lifts though so I cannot vote.

    body lift is the worst lift you could ever put on a truck regardless of what you use it for...

    They look like shit and are unsafe

    I voted DB because body lift was loosing:p

    It was tied at 5-5 at one point.

    WTF is wrong with just a 3'' lift? Both your options suck ass. I would go 3'' plus BL and at least be able to take the BL off relatively easy.... Your stuck with a DB.

    If you are hardcore into offroading, one of the worst things you can do would be to lower the ground clearance, which a DB lift would do. So I guess I'm guess not really voting "for" the body lift being better, but against the drop bracket.

    Like others have said it really depends on what you want to use it for. The only reason to go 3" suspension + 3" body would be to fit bigger tires than the 3" lift would allow, to gain more ground clearance. But IMO the tradeoff isn't worth it.

    I did put bl's on the end of that list :confused:

    I have many friends with DB lifts and 3" lifts; done right both have their ups and downs.

    I'm not doing either option, as I'm at 3" lift with coilovers now, though I have thought about both options in the past.

    Personally I'm leaning towards playing around with fiberglass up front this spring and staying with my 33's.

    Change of subject....
    Today I went from 305/70/16 Kumho MT's to 305/70/16 Mud Grapplers and though their the same size tires, the Grapplers weigh more and I can tell/feel it, which I figured. 35's and my truck would take 6 blocks to stop at 55. I'm probablly going with 4:56 to get some pep back, without bouncing off the rev limiter at 75 (4:88's).

    When I get this truck paid off, the fun will really start $$$$.
