Hey Jerry, my truck is an '04. Just noticed you have it on the OP as an '03. I'm guessing it's the same design for the parking brake cable, but wanted to check just in case.

Yeah its the same thing and the skid fits the 03 & 04 I just need to drill and tap a hole for that little brake cable.

Cool, is the cable getting attached to the skid now instead of making the skid bigger to go around it?

Yeah the skid fits if you remove the cable and move it to the skid. And the skid is already big on the back of the 1st Gen axle i don't want to make it any bigger.

Man If I could I would it sucks sitting all day doing noting when i could be in the shop busting these skids out. I do have a good grove now and I can pump out 5 a week. I have 6 80% right now and I just went and picked up some more 1/2" plate so tonight I cut the clamps for the next 20 skids and tomorrow I build.

I'm hoping to have most of the GB done by the end of the month  Because I've go some new things I want to do some R&D on :spy:

I should be done painting mines tomorrow. Turned out a little disappointing, the flouro green ended up looking like just a lime green. LAME.
I blacked out the letters, then realized I missed the dots/periods. So once those are blacked out as well, the diff will be done and mounted up.

However a green diff cover on a red truck will be quite the color clash. lol

Here is a quick screen shot of something I'm working on for the shop. It's my rendering of a Catch style Press Brake. I wish I would of built something like this before the GB :(

Quick rundown of the specs.. 37" window width, 1/2" thick main frame sandwiched between 2 pieces of 1/4" for a total of 1" thick main frame.
Arms and shackles will be 2 laminated pieces of 3/8" for a 3/4" thickness.

5"x 24" Hydraulic Cylinder pushing on swingarms with about 3:1 ratio. This will push down on shackles that will increase downward pressure as the shackles get close to swinging "over-center".

Hydraulic System will consist of a 5hp motor, 2500psi pump and log splitter valve.

When finished it should be running somewhere around 100tons of down force. plenty to bend 36" sheets of 1/4" plate. I should be able to bend 24" 3/8" plate with ease

This is just what I did yesterday wile at work  I'm sure I'll be changing things as I go. I'm hoping to have the .dxf ready to cut in a month or so I will be cutting everything on my TorchMate but the main frame because it's too large I'll be farming that out.

Are you picking up all this material with the Tacoma? lol because it sure sounds like a crapload of weight.

At this rate your going to need a full size or a dually to haul all that steel dude. :D
