    First I'd like to thank all of you again for the warm well wishes for the birth of my son, Cain. Thank you.

    Today we found out that my wife's father has cancer in his stomach. He has been hospitalized since Tuesday. Doctors aren't sure yet where it's originating from.
    My FIL is one of the best people I've ever known. This is the man who gave me my first shotgun and taught me how to hunt. He's the reason that I love firearms and hunting. He has always been a close friend to me despite our 36 year age difference.
    I love him like he is my own dad and I beg of you to keep him in your prayers for me. He has 9 children and many grandchildren and many friends but he really needs more prayers!

    ill keep him in prayers. It sucks about cancer, why cant someone find a cure for it already? Seems like more and more people are getting it instead of getting rid of it.

    How much money has Jerry raised for "his kids" and no progress....that money might be better spent on cancer research. (not saying cut funding off for MD research)

    He has been feeling flu-like for the last month and finally decided to go in.
    They took out 10lbs of fluid from his stomach. He never smoked and was always up on medical journals and such; always took the best vitamins...He is a Metlife retiree and has always had the best healthcare. He is super active; always hunting or playing tennis.
