    I'll keep that in mind!!! I buy my oil at www.AmericanLubes.com They have the best price that I have found. Of course you all know synthetic oil isn't cheap!!!!

    Funny how some people won't use Amsoil or any other quality oil due to price.
    A 25-35K truck and they complain about spending an extra 30-40 bucks on an oil change.

    Amsoil all the way. As with most high quality things in life, you get what you pay for.

    and you're turbo'd probably needs more protection then a 4L v6 i'd say.

    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    I use Rotella 15w-40 on my three 60's vintage dodge trucks for a variety of reasons...it used to be CHEAP by the five gallon bucket, universally available, very high detergent and quite durable. Good stuff for the old flat tappet engines.

    Not ideal for a modern Taco's, but I ran it in my 94 Toy pickup for several hundred thousand miles with no issues.

    More correctly: Shell Helix Ultra. Same oil, but Shell sells it under their Pennzoil name in the USA since Pennzoil is owned by Shell.

    Which is also why Pennzoil couldn't be Mobil1: sorry again monkey.

    you can get 25,000 miles between oil changes with amzoil I use to be a dealer and its a true synthetic

    You see the problem with this is not whether or not the oil can last that long before it starts to brake down. The problem is some motors burn more oil then others and people dont check the oil level every 3,000 to make sure its still topped off and not below the fill line. keep in mind that many car makers call burning a half quart of oil or so every 3,000 is normal for 100,000 plus mile motors

    No actually the bigger issue is if along with an "extended service oil" they also installed an "extended service" filter.
