Was not too bad Ken. I had to lay down on 1 in crushed red stone to do the swap out. I did put down a movers blanket first. FTW. Anyhoo it is fixed now. On to a shower then to illuminate the Christmas Village under the tree.

$500 and $$$$ left over for all that stuff --- that wasn't a good haul, that was a great haul!

    Must be Murphy's day.
Just returned from my daughter's, she asked if I could tighten up the screw's on the Little Men's bunk bed. Observed that the screws required Allen wrench. No problem, I have a set in my tool box. Found out that my set of Allen wrenches is almost complete. Never guess which one was missing. :(

made it back: didn't even see a tail. ticks are horrible. felt about 10 crawling around and just took 2 out of my leg. got to look close, i'm sure there's more. almost glad I didn't get a deer, way, way, way too warm. would have been saturated draging it out.

Good morning, everyone! Strange weather here - 58 degrees in late November. No complaints, though. It's supposed to get colder tonight with a chance of some snow flurries.

For those who might remember seeing these, I picked up this piece of WWII history yesterday. Trying to decide if I want to open it or not.

X3 on the not opening the can. Neat find!

ewww ticks. Spray clothes and tuck bottom of pant legs into your socks/boots. Better luck next time.

 Morning everyone. Beautiful morning here... little on the chilly side, but not bad. Got over an inch of rain last night

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
    Good morning, everybody.

Yesterday was Machinery Mutiny Day...with a vengeance. Out of six pieces of equipment there was only one still running by lunch time. Two Cats went down with transmission problems, a skidder blew a hydraulic pump, and the loader ate a turbo. Happens that way sometimes.
We made an early day out of it but our mechanics probably spent most of the night up there. I got a call about an hour ago that everything was up and running so here we go again.

Retirement is looking better and better all the time. :D
