alignment? is it possible to do myself?

    3inch ready lift, tint, foglights,BHLM,dumped exh,rims,tires, and a dent in the bumper
    i know im cheap but i will be installing a readylift on my 5 lug and i was wondering if theres a way i can alingn it myself it dosnt have to be perfect im replacing tires n e way just wanna lift it for now plus i hear when you get new wheels you need to alingn as well and i dont really want to pay fof two alingnments please help me out

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    go to firestone, pay like $150 and get the lifetime alignments for the life of the truck...

    Why not just wait for the lift and tires, install them the same time and only get one alignment done?

    you can do the string and tape measure alignment...comes out pretty close

    If that's the same thing I'm thinking of.... That's only for TOE adjustment


    You still need to check/allign camber & caster.

    Removed Mud Flaps, Suspension TSB, 5100's all around, JVC KW-AVX710 Head Unit with Metra surround.
    Correct, you need an angle gauge and a very level surface to adjust the camber. And with the way the camber is adjusted in these trucks I'm willing to bet that if you have to ask if it is possible to do this yourself then it might be a little out of your skill level to try to make those adjustments.

    well i installed tne lift this saturday and when all was said and done the alingment wasnt really out of wack it pulled a light hair to the right ill post some pics here in a little bit but thanks for the alingment answers but i guess im gonna just wait for the wheels to get one

    [​IMG] soon ill be getting some 15x8 cragar soft 8s but any suggestions on tires? i want a pretty meaty all terrain or even mud terrain but im tryin to stay under $500 or atlest damn close so please help me out
