i didnt get that kit.. its a longggg story.

but lets just say i got 2.0 4 inch bumps, 14 inch threaded body ext resi, 6 inch c/os ext resis. all race runner.

a old school burg kit, axels, spindles, everything. for.... like $140 more than a new pair of saw bump stops........

I'm not sure, I called camburg and the guy I was talking too couldn't answer my questions. He said the one that could was really busy and to call back later. I would think still 13 or so. Maybe not as much up travel? I'm gonna keep the ball joints for now and see how I like it. Starting to paint everything tonight:) I think I'm gonna do dark orange..idk

I think the new kit (with uniballs) only gets 12-13" travel so you most likely will be around 12" IIRC

From watching my kit cycle when putting together I would say 12" is about right. The inch you lose will most likely be droop, thats where the uniballs start to bind is full droop

Interesting, so the Lower Balljoint out-cycles the Upper-uniball?

Does the travel vary slightly between 2WD & 4WD like it does on 2nd Gens?

Yes the travel will vary because you should strap it with 4wd so you don't destroy your axels. I was going to strap it to 12, and if that's all it will pull that's fine with me because I would need to strap it there anyways with uniballs.

But if it only pulls 10... That's where I have a problem lol

Its probably because the lower arms are longer so they arent angled as steep.

No the 2nd Gens do 13" for 4wd and 15" for 2wd. The 1st gens are just 13" for both

How long are those arms from the center of the lower ball joint to the center of the inner mounts? Curious if they kept the same 3.5" over. Mine are about 18"

Just got off the phone with scott at camburg, he said the ball joint and uniball on this kit will yield the same amount of travel (13 inches) the only reason they switched to a uniball was cause they were stronger. He said I can get uniball uppers from him for like 700. He said he would run the ball joints if they aren't in bad shape. Woot:) makes me happy!
