I also use O'donnell fuels, but 30 only on my race setups, and only 20 on everything else.

    Sick!!

My favorite fuel is trinity monster. Been using it ever since I first started the hobby, it a little pricey though.
Has anyone been able to find a tacoma body or any nice lexan toyota body?

I bought a home made RC plane. It doesn't have wheels. Should I even bother with them?

some sort of device for landing is definitely a good idea, when it lands without wheels, it will faceplant most likely.

on another note<HOLY DEAD THREAD BATMAN> to myself

Tamiya Land Cruiser Rock Crawler there is... thought about the losi mini crawler, but ended up ordering a Venom Creeper kit. i started out at 10 yrs old with an MRC 1:10 stadium truck (junk) and quickly upgraded to Associated RC10T3. Ran the piss out of it. guarantee with fresh batteries and motor still run like a charm

sure there has to be a replacement shell for this rig somewhere

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
ok, so i'm thinking about getting a Revo 3.3 from Traxxas. a major issue i need to get past though is that i would really like to have telemetry...err...i think that's the term. want to get one of the fancy controllers that have the LCD on them to monitor engine temps, etc. is this possible? i realize that the truck comes RTR, but can i change out components to achieve this? a friend has a Losi 8ight 2.0 with the LCD setup and it's tits.

also, of those who have/had a Revo...what are the most common parts breakages?

background: i had a few elec. trucks back in the day, but will be brand new to nitro. want to do some minor bashing/playing and unorganized/backyard racing. i understand that the nitro engines need constant attention, and i'm cool with that. suggestions/hints/tips for a noob? :)

I also have a savage Xss, I have had it about a year. I loved the build. I have 3 more rc's, a mini MGT and two old school RC's: a Traxxas Hawk2 that still runs like a champ and a playtron candy boat. I probably should take a pic of everything sometime. Here are two pics of my savage with different lids and tires. I just recently painted a black lid with the "got milk" slogan. If you have read my threads you would get the significance.

I will see if I can get a pic tomorrow in the sunlight. As far as the rims, they were axials and they looked awesome but the torq of the savage spun them right out of the beadlocks. When I tried to tighten the screws down I stripped them out. Now I just run with glue. The beadlocks are a bit heavy anyway.
