So I've had my '11 Taco for a month now, haven't even made my first payment. But, I have made oh, probably more than $1k in mod payments already.

Just wondering, what mods did you make in your first month of Taco ownership?

I'm sure I don't have the most by a long shot, but I'll start:

    -Tonneau Cover
-Weather tech mats for front only
    -Westin nerf bars
-Coverking, color matched seat covers, front/rear
-Blacked out/dipped tailgate emblems (too windy to finish others yet)

Well this isn't a mod per se but, spent the better part of two days cleaning out the garage, putting summer toys in storage, all to fit my Taco and wife's car in the garage! First time in years I've parked in our garage, maybe ever. :)

I did the trailer tongue cram into the lowered tailgate mod....The lock on the trailer broke when I was pulling the 4-wheeler off and the tongue of the trailer slammed up into the tailgate which I had lowered at the time to get some camping items out of.

Not sure which would suck worse doing damage in this fashion, or the two door dings I got before the 30 day temp plates expired:confused:

This is going to sound bad and I hope the wife dosen't see this:

    Trailer hitch & wiring
    New rims and tires
    Diamondback bed cover
    HID's
    Relentless sliders(on order)
    Wet Okole seat covers
    Weathertech floor matts
    Led lights
    4x4 led switch
Alpine head unit(have not decided which one) but have the appointment

I think that's it. I have been saving for a while!

Not speaking for the other guy but...mine hasn't noticed the Westin Step/nerf bars and it's been a week! Helps to have a wife that could care less about trucks...

Now, can I get in the 5100 lift/aal lift in without noticing she's gotten a tad shorter...hmmmmm.

Oh, she can tell. She just won't say anything until the best possible moment. Her truck is already done to her satisfaction. I had to do that right off the bat.

    25% tint on front windows.

I REALLY want to keep the ball rolling and get Pro Comp rims, but the truck came with brand new General tires, and there's no need to run out and waste perfectly good material, so when I need new tires, I'm getting new wheels!

TRD SS will be ordered once I get my first paycheck at my new job, but that won't be within my first month of ownership anymore, so perhaps it won't count :D

GT seat covers are on the list as well. I can't survive in cloth seats, or, they can't survive me, either way.

Also going to do the fog lamp AT mod, probably this weekend.

Hahahaha, I hear you there. My husband is as happy as a clam with stock, and gives me a dirty look every time I find a new accessory or part that I "MUST HAVE."

But seriously, a SS is a must have. If you don't believe me, drive my truck for a week in downtown traffic and see what tune you sing :p

And Pro Comp rims? TOTAL must have. All the big kids will make fun of my stock 16" :D
