Ha Ha! Yeah. I've been in a creative slump for a while. I wanna head over to Bishop and the Alabama Hills for some inspiration. Before winter really hits.

So I'm finally getting a hang of my T2i. It's an AMAZING camera.

This was taken thanksgiving weekend. I was out with friends at the mall...I got home and discovered a fish eye kind of effect in photoshop because I'm too poor to afford a fish eye lens :D

This was my dinner for that night. Soooo good, I thought I adjusted the exposure here in photoshop, bleh oh well.

were you standing up or sitting down?

your white balance looks a little off.

What was your ISO, f/stop, etc...

Standing. High school gym. I really wish there was more room. :(

White balance may not be off...may be my editing. :notsure: edited with Nik software.

the skin tones look off to me :notsure:

The only reason why I asked about the standing vs sitting is because it looks like you are looking down on your subjects. I would have upped your ISO one more stop (if you could) to get a slightly faster shutter speed).

When I can't sit down at a sporting event I got myself a pair of construction knee pads.

I do like the fact that you got the players faces tho.

EDIT: Don't forget to check your exposures

I need to carry a small stool with me! :p But no joke...is it easier/better angle when kneeling/sitting? Just curious, I had never thought about sitting.

Do the skin tones look off straight out of the camera?

And you say don't forget to check my exposures, what do you mean?

I took this photo sitting right under the basket

Fastbreak by Blue Moon Originals, on Flickr

(This was shot at ISO 3200, f/2.8, 1/500 shutter speed)

the skin tones look a little red to me abit

the bodies of the players are dark but the backgrounds are slightly brighter. Your camera isn't taking into account of the light bouncing up from the court

Ah...I see what you are saying. Makes sense. I will account, or see what I can do for that next time! And will for sure try sitting!
