    So has anyone used there outlet in the truck bed to string christmas lights?!? I really wanna do it but am curious to see if its been done before! Anyone?

    Meh, seems like everything is illegal nowadays! Thats not gonna stop me from doing it this year with my truck. (unless of course the local PD has a problem with it ;))

    Its about the only Christmas cheer i'm showing this year. lol

    Its not just a california thing, I promise. Really just depends on how Grinchy your local LEO feels when he sees you I suppose.

    I really doubt it'll be a problem here in Ontario. Some big rigs out there on the road are lit up like Christmas trees, so really, what's the difference.

Hard-wired Radar Det. Custom Projector fog lights, Anytime Fog Mod, HIDS, White LED accent lighting on a Single post double toggle swicht, so they light up wit my door/dome light, or always on, or never on. LED map and dome lights.

    bcuz it wont b fun....lol

    Friend of mine setup a small Christmas tree all lit up in the back of his 07 without any problems from LEO. Never cared to to it to my 05.

    In Texas they don't care. Pretty much everything with a roof rack around here do it. But I was thinking bout it this year to.

    I do it every year since I got the truck! I just plug em into the bed outlet and run them with some zip ties along the tracks for the tiedown cleats... lemme see if i can dig up a picture from last year. If not it's on my list of things to do this weekend.

    I've never had a problem with getting pulled over or anything. All I get are compliments on how cool they look.

    Issue you a fix it ticket. So you have to take it to another LEO to have him sign off that you removed it, then you take the signed ticket to the courts and you pay your fine.
