So I ordered a new grill from parts geek and am planning on doing the satoshi with it. Ill be buying all of my stuff and hardware from lowe's probably tomorrow. Does anyone know if they sell any type of mesh that i could use there? Or should i just use the grill craft? and another thing, I was thinking about painting the grill myself with dupli-color. What are your opinions of this? Or should i take it to a shop and have it professionally done, and what are the normal price ranges of getting a grill color matched?

i would have it professionally done. but maybe because i think it would hold up to hitting birds and stuff. lol i hit dirts ALLOT!! this year i have hit like 6 or 7. and ran one over.

He runs a Satoshi making service, and I think he might sell pre-cut mesh for the DIY-ers. Just a thought

I got my mesh for my Satoshi from homer.. then used OEM black trim paint. Just cleaned it, and sprayed. It has held up for the last 6 to 7 months. The black trim paint is awesome. matches any black trim on any vehicle. You can get It from any auto parts store.

I'd just rattle can if I were you. Mines been done for over 2 years now and there is only a few small chips of where rocks have hit it.

As long as its not a chrome sanded down, go with a duplicolor and nice light coats. Take your time, do not rush AT ALL... you'll regret it :)
