Hey guys, I've been looking at this site ever since I bought my first Tacoma, about 2 weeks ago so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I recently bought a 2008 Tacoma TRD Sport, which I am thrilled with! The previous owner took awesome care of it and it basically looks brand new! I do some hunting in South Florida, which means going through the swamp and I have to say I cannot wait to take her there and dirty her up.

I am not the most mechanically inclined guy so I haven't worked on trucks to much in my life, but look forward to trying some of the mods I have seen on here once I want more. As of right now it has everything i need for off-roading with a ton of upgrades all ready.

Looking forward to seeing and conversing with you guys here. And of course I'm all about pictures.

Thanks for the welcome and compliments guys!

I have to tell you I was looking at that thread pretty closely last night :D! I was also looking at the blacked out halo lights on another site. I have sometime to think and plan about this while my bank account is recovering LOL!

I haven't done it yet because I have the chrome grille and I'm not sure it would look good with that contrast. But it would look incredible on your taco since everything else is already black! You've got some nice accessories also. Welcome to the addiction!

Thanks again for all the compliments guys!

Oh, I plan on either getting the black halos (not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to what I have been looking at) for the head lights and fog lights to match or do the BHLM. Is there a BHLM for the fog lights as well? I haven't seen it yet.

If I'm allowed to post a link to what I am looking at I'll make sure to do it. I just need to look through the rules one more time.

Nice truck and I agree either BHLM or black halos will look great on your truck. (Anything to get rid of chrome)

Pretty sure you can post any SFW links you want. About the fogs...I assume it wouldn't be worth doing any mods to them, because even with the BHLM it's only the surrounding casing that is made black. The lenses and reflecting surfaces remain chrome. And fogs are pretty much just a reflecting surface with a cover. Would be interested to see if anyone has done that though

If you see something on Amazon or any other site you can post the link or any pics of what you are looking to get, etc. Check the vendor area in TACOMAWORLD land and see what other members make and sell. Support them if you can.

Ask whatever questions and we will help! Use the search function also to look around tacoma world too...it's real helpful.
