I'm curious what you guys think of these wheels! They are only available on the TX Pro packages for the 2012s, but the guy at the dealer said he would probably be able to get me 4 if I want them... $241 each! I have a silver double cab TRD Off Road, and I think they would look great on them... I might have to black out the chrome rim though.

But a silver Tacoma with black front and rear off road bumpers, bushwacker flares, and these wheels with some m/t's... That would look good!

big fan! I have the Rugged Trail pkg on my rig, and I love the stock black toyota rims. I like how toyota is taking note of the aftermarket trends and producing factory trick parts.

I was told by the dealer I talked to a few weeks back that these wheels are no longer available due to recalls. Hope she was full of it cause I love the look of these wheels.

I've always liked these wheels when I first saw them. I was going to buy a set off of Delmarva but he ended up selling them to a local guy. Oh well.

I like the look but, the fake bead lock ring retains water and mud which, in my case, causes vibration when at speed.

Can you just leave that chrome bead lock off, or does it actually do something and need to be on? I think it would look better without that part anyway!

I think it's just for looks but, to be honest I've not looked close enough to know if or how it comes off. I'm at work and the truck is parked at my "ride share" meeting point so can't look right now. I'll check it out in the morning....

Have you had a chance to check if the chrome bead lock can be removed? I think it would look great without it, but still have the chrome bolts around the perimeter there.

I agree! That is why I would like to take that chrome rim off, or at least paint it black!

Other than that, I haven't really seen any wheels that have this design, and I like it. Plus the fact that it has TRD on it helps!

I powdercoated my stock rims and added FJ TRD centercaps.

That's not a real bead lock just for look's that's part of the reason I don't care for them.
