    Hi folks. One more week of classes, then back to the real world. It's been a good experience, I wish I didn't quit college back in the day. Who knows where I would have eded up. (I was a lousy student back then, not so much now)

    Actually, I really am looking forward to going back to work. Problem is, not a lot of openings around here. My new full time job is going to be finding a full time job! I've got one pretty good lead right now, a new startup sheet metal fabrication shop. They got in touch with the college saying they need people from the manufacturing program. Two of my professors gave me a recommendation. I stopped in to talk with them Tuesday, but all I got to do was fill out an application. OSHA showed up while I was there for an unannounced inspection, and they started scrambling.:eek:

    I always make sure to wear pants when I BBQ! I actually worry about looking like a creeper when I post, don't want that reputation. I try to be careful not to offend anyone on here, so I hope I am succeeding. Sometimes it's tough to be the old timer in a group of young people.

    It started a couple of weeks ago.... 'bout the time I quit drinking soda and started drinking Lipton tea. It's not too bad, just don't want it to get bad - usually starts right about noon time.

    Never got a chance to go back then... hindsight is 20/20.
