Don't konw anything about his play this yr or in the past. Just what I've ready by local sports writers in the PG and Trib, which means they have no idea how good he is either. I never get excited about players in WB until I've seen what they can do. Everyone still thinks Tangradi will turn into Kevin Stevens someday. I do know the Pens D looked weak against teh Rangers and Paul Martin looks over paid.

 

Exactly, not much info on him from the PG or Trib cause they don't know, I did see some of his training camp and people were not as stoked as they once were but is showing slow progress. I was actually really shocked he didn't play in pre-season at all and they let Joe Morrow from Portland Winterhawks play. He is someone I think that could be on the Pens line up within the next few years IMO

Hopefully Despres brings his A game and shows he deserves to be with the club with all the past hype around him. One thing I did read is he was pretty reckless and didn't make smart plays, more of a Maverick if you will.

Our D needs to be way better tonight and Martin is looking real over paid 5M a year err something like that. Real slow start gettin into the system. He almost looks lost at some points in the game. Regardless Sid 2 Assists, 1 Goal. Stallsy is gonna get nasty with it I hope and Geno needs to stop being so pretty. SHOOT IT AT NET. LETS GO PENS!

 

I didn't buy the center ice package this yr (live in ATL) so I haven't seen too many games, just the highlights. There's just a crowd in the Burgh that hear about someone being good and they run with it. Even after it's obvious that player will always be a disopointment. It's wierd being in ATL where nobody is that passionate about the local teams.

I get frustrated with Malkin. He is so close to just dominating the world every time he's on the ice but sometimes I feel like he has Kovalev syndrome. Which is sad with his size, speed, and skill he should be destroying teams. Only until recently with Sid back has he stepped up again.

 

I've been to a giants game, they're fun. Definately recommend going.

 

Yea Geno tends to be a headcase from time to time. Hope he can stay healthy and confident and just destroy. Screw the 2 Headed Monster Stagi, we freaking got a Beast of a Monster on the PP. Sid, Geno, Staal, Neal, Sully. I def like how Disco Dan is switchin up the lines and messin with playin 5 fwds from time to time on the PP. Even with Tanger n Orpik or even Engel for that matter.... SO WHY ARE WE NOT SCORING MORE ON THE PP... Tryin to be to fancy.

 

Good to hear. I think im gonna head up DEC 9th so see Joe Morrow play.
