Does anyone know of a place where I can get the connector/inserting bar on my tow hitch bike rack cut down/shortened? Let me explain: I bought a Thule tow hitch bike rack on c-list that is for a 1.25" receiver, but you can tell that the manufacturer welded a 2"-to-1.25" adapter to it. So essentially, I want to have that part cut down/off so I can use the "original" portion that is for a 2" receiver. I'll be able to cut down/off about 6 unnecessary inches (i.e. less pivotal weight swaying/bouncing around at the end of the bike rack).

 

Muffler shop, chop saw?

greg that definately has to be a bushing issue or a squeeky uniball, my truck makes that same noise and makes so many other squeeks i dont even care anymore lol, if i took a video like you did you would only hear sqeeking from my bushings and uniballs lmao. but in your case im leaning toward a bad bushings. I paused at 1:18 of your movie and your bushing looks FUBAR hahaha pull the upper arm off real quik and see if their torn up or worn to shit or what. I had used camburg uppers for a year and a half or so and the bushing never looked like yours. It looks like the bushing is being squeezed to shit and bulging out around the washers. loosen up the upper and retighten and see what happens?
