Eibachs give a little over 3'' actually. Do some searching man. There is a TON of info on this site about this. 881s only give about 2.5

    what he said.

If you want 3 inches you will need to run Eibach/5100's or an adjustable coilover. I dont think OME makes any kit for 3''+ without running some type of spacer.

thanks for the input, i have read but there are conflicting statements up here also,,, the sticky says not recommended to run aftermarket coils,,yets others do... you would think if the sticky is wrong it would be corrected...otherwise why make it a sticky..???

the sticky is talking about using the adjustable coil perch set at anything but 0 on the 5100's with aftermarket coils.

so if you use a coil to lift the truck, set the 5100's to "stock" height and let the coils do the lifting.
otherwise, you can change the position of the coil perch on the 5100's with STOCK coils, and let the 5100 do the lifting.

ahhh,,,thats where i was confused at.... so on the 5100's it will have 3 adjustments for the perch correct? and since i'm planning on eibach coils just set the perch on the shock to 0 or what to get 3"?

set it to stock "0", the lowest setting, and have the eibachs do the lifting.

you'll get a little more than 3". I got around 3.3-4, other members like Jlee got 3.5

I have heard of people using longer rear lines, but not front lines unless yours are worn and dried out/cracked.

I have seen many people on here that never used longer brake lines and never has a problem.

I know backdawg on here has almost 4'' of lift in the rear and is on stock brake lines.

so, IMO, do the lift and if you feel that you need them, get them.

No our fronts are fine, But you should get the rear one.

I had like 4-4.5'' of rear lift and ran on the stock line for just street driving and was fine. But i put in a longer steel line before i went on my WY meet trip. Definitely would NOT have wheeled without having that installed.

So i would plan on getting the rear line especially if you have 3'' or more in the back of lift and your offroad a lot. You just mall crawl, don't worry about it.
