    He just mad cause he aint carolina and he didnt win. We have turned the tide on clemson. Carolina is not the carolina that we used to be. We will eventually will win a NC and a couple conference championships just hadnt got there yet

    What would yall do if yall were the head coach of South carolina to make them better at football. I want to know, yall always acting like yall could coach better than the coach that is already coaching. Well some of us can coach the team better than some coach's thats already the coach of that team.

    Your team is on the cusp of it's greatest season in the history of the football program, you've never won a major bowl game, and even during your greatest season ever, you're going to a mid-level bowl game and weren't ever in any serious NC talk

    I'd love to beat the pants off carolina every year, but I'll take the opportunity to play for a BCS bowl over beating them all day long

    Dabo Swinney is awesome. He's an Alabama grad who grew up around here. Add that to what he has to say about bitch-baby Spurrier and I have all kinds of reasons to like him.

    I dunno... There's no history of winning there. One of the great coaches in football is there and 10-win seasons are all he can put together. The Cocks have 4 bowl victories ever (3 since 2000). They play in a division with Tennessee and Florida (who won't be down forever), and Georgia, who is better than SC on a regular basis. The fact that they won the East for the first time EVER last year says something.

    On top of that, they have to get through the best team in the West in order to win a NC, and they've never been on par with Alabama, La State, Arkansas, auburn.

    Dabo made a lot of good points... No NCs, one conference championship (ACC 40+ years ago), a few bowl games here and there. This is the greatest era of SC football ever... SC is certainly not Clemson.

    Dreams of a NC at USCe are just that. Enjoy the beatings you get to put on Clemson when they come, b/c that's your championship. From what I can tell, they come few and far between anyway... Clemson leads the series 65-40-4.

    Arky had won 3 of 4 against La State before this year. I think it's better for Alabama if La State wins, so I'll be pulling against y'all this time. Hope it's a good game, though.

    You pretty much nailed it

    Spurrier has claimed that they've started winning against Clemson because they took the focus off the Clemson game but it has always been the other way around, and I don't believe that will ever change

    The Clemson game is the highlight of their season, and it is their chance to crow SEC > ACC thus continuing to live vicariously thru the teams you mentioned above

    Clemson has focused on other goals, and it shows (losing 3 of the last 4 against the chickens)

    Unfortunately, Clemson has their own demons that we somehow cannot get past, and 9 times out of 10...implosions are the result

    We havent won the ACC in like 20 years, havent been to a major bowl since before the BCS was created, and obviously, havent won a NC in 30 years

    BUT we still aint carolina!
