hey wou8ld i be able to wire up two of my lights to the stock fog light wiring?

 

yes, but not directly. if you splice directly and use the power from them to also power the new lights, it will overload the wires, which will potentially meld the insulation and cause a short/fire.

what you can do, however, is splice into the power going to the fogs, and use that as the power to another relay. if you reffer to the diagram from earlier, where you have power going to the relay from the stitch, have it coming from the positive lead of the fog light wiring instead.

 

Looking in his sig pic he doesnt have fogs, so the wires are currently unused I presume.

in that case, give it a shot. hook everything up, turn it on, and sit there holding the wires for a few minutes. if the fuse doesn't blow and the wires don't get hot, you're good to go.

 

man you should know i dont got fog lights seams good enough maybe i can do something with my old fog lights (stockers) and get the connector off of them since they will never be used and put the connector onto the lights then boom easy disconnect

i wouldn't bother trying to worry about the factory plugs. just cut them off. leave a little wire tail on them though in case you ever want to reuse or sell them for some reasone though

also i got to hang my lights like yours on my hoop unless i get satoshi and i dont want to dish out money for that right now so make brackets and hang upside down it is for free

good deal. you'll like them.

when yyou get them though, they are set up to be mounted base down. to mount them base up (hang them), there is a little rubber plug on the top of the light that you will want to take out and use to plug the hole in the bottom. if you don't do this, the lights will fog. i believe the instructions tell you about that, but redundancy never hurts.

it just kinda lays out the lights. they come with a wiring harness (though shittty), so they explain the different wires in that and where they go if you were to use it.

huh, that's odd.

Edit: just looked at the site i got mine from. they must make their own harness and type up some information on that and the lights in general when you buy from them.
