Bilstein 5100s @ 1.75 with 1.5 AAL, Satoshi Grill Mod with 2 Hella 500s behind the grill, LED dome and map lights, custom made (by me) 10" subwoofer box behind the dbl cab seat, DVD/iPod/Bluetooth/GPS/TV/USB/Stereo, Yakima rack, Shell, tinted front windows to match the factory backs. Backup cam in the tailgate handle mod.
Well I figured I would post pics of a box I build for behind my double cab seat. I didnt want to chop any brackets and need the child seat holders so I made a box that will accomodate them. All made with simple hand tools. Just waiting for my 10" sub and will hook up soon. the amp will mount to the left and sub to right. The box will be easy to put in and remove. Im waiting for my sub and then will seal up all the interior and carpet. Hopefully it works well and sound well. I will update soon. Box cost about $25 in wood, screws and speaker terminal. BTW box where sub goes is not attached as of yet thats why you can see seams. will mount sub first make sure my depth is good then seal, glue, screw.

Looks good, maybe a little thick, but keep us posted. Is this supposed to go behind the seats in the normal position, or laid flat???

Normal position. It fits behind rear seat on passenger side and middle. Sub will be in middle behind seat. I have put it in and out a few times to make sure it fits but not with speaker. I only worry how close I am to back of seat because sub may touch and vibrate. I got a shallow mount sub that needs only about 3" mount depth so I may have enough space to recess mount and hopefully not touch. I can also take plastic back off seat but dont want to do that.

Thanks guys for the input and kind words. I will post finished product soon.

Hey thats big coming from you! You've answered many questions on this forum for me. I'm just hoping it sounds okay. I dont have high dollars so the sub and amp wont be great. I will upgrade later im sure! I really just wanted to make a sub box to see if I could do it. And I needed something that would retain the child seat holders. I really wanted to buy a JL shallow mount sub but the shallow sub was 5" mount depth and at the angle on my box that will probably hit bottom. I have a mb quart I am going to try. Only 3" mount depth. Most subs ive seen seem to be mounted low in the box where its deeper. Thanks again.

Nice, did you make it! What's the covering? Carpet or paint. I was thinking about rhino lining the box and smoothing the texture to match the factory black storage bin!

    Nothing yet...that's why I'm here.
Any chance you'd be willing to share your blueprints? It would be nice not to have to freestyle my build so much. I've built plenty of speaker boxes, but never had to account for angles and such a tight space to fit the box. I'd really appreciate it.
