How did you keep them in place around the bed?

There are holes every few inches on the bottom side of the bed rail, I just used zip ties through those holes.

I did this a couple years ago. Don't have any pics. I just wrapped around each tie down pretty tight. They didn't go anywhere. I was trying to figure a way to get them on the top of the bed rails so you could see them better. I would think as long as they don't blink, cops shouldn't bug you. I was actually thinking of an old school plastic light up Santa in the bed and tying it down some how. Think that would be cool. Also thought of duct tape on the top rails but I drive on highway to work. Wouldn't trust it to be safe.

That's what I was thinking...just trying to find a good way to show them on the bed a little bit better....we have about 4 sets of quality LED lights (colored) that we didn't end up using this year.

Putting lights on the truck is a waste of time. Everyone is too busy texting to notice them. :p

I'd like to think that for the most part, a cop couldn't even see in the bed of your truck. Unless they're a hardass that drives an SUV.

Me either. And if i did do it, I would replace the blue lights with another color. Blue's a no-no.

    THIS....

I would totally avoid blue or red, so a cop doesn't get pissed that it looks like an emergency vehicle's lights.

Stick with white or multicolored lights.

Ya I even tried a way of attaching something to the tie down so they stick up out of the bed. But that didn't work real well. I hope someone comes up with a good idea so I can copy! :D
