    Well, just got back from my first crossfit workout. Today was fundamentals class so it was all about getting good form and stuff like that. We did a 5 min circuit at the end, and GODDAMN am I tired after just that. We were doing exercises for 2.5 hours though. I had minimal pain in both of my injury zones. Very excited about the future doing this

    it sounds tough, ive got the strength down pat i just have very little cardio training, i do great when my adrenaline is up, but running and stuff i get winded easy

    Are you an explorer or cadet? If so grab some old 2 1/2" and do some 100' wind sprints. Or find a steep hill of bleacher steps and sprint. Also 6x400m sprints with 2 minutes rest between sprints should be good. Just remember that sprints build up VO2 capacity the fastest (lung tidal volume), and that long cardio increases overall endurance. But trust me, Ive run the CPAT more times than I care to share, and Ive always finished with several minutes left. Part of the test is being used to the equipment and the way they want you to utilize it. Practice. PM me if you have anymore questions about it

    naw full fledged firefighter, but ive started doing circuit training at the end of my workout by climbing the equivelant of a 5 story tower (85 box steps) with a high rise pack. tractor tire flips, rope hoists ect...

    i got some old 2.5 i might mark out 100' at my gym monday and start doing wind sprints
