I'll try and get pics of mine or something... It is a pain in the ass. In fact, I actually had to somewhat break the little clips that hold the clock/hazard in place.. the little squares (on the radio bezel) that hold the clips/prongs (on the clock/hazard). I had to pry them apart with a flat head, and pull the clock up and out at the same time.. sorry man, Its really hard to explain. :(

Hopefully someone else will chime In

I love my new factory look Rosen navigation multimedia system. So far I don't regret spending the $1217 cha ching.

It fit like a glove. No rattle or nothing. And one thing I thought would bug me is the backlit. It almost matches the stock amber lighting perfectly. Also the Bluetooth is great on it. I paired the unit to my HTC thunderbolt phone and stream music wirelessly from pandora I loved that it can do that. Eliminate the need of having an aux input.

sweet! I have a Thunderbolt as well, good to know. The fitment is a BIG issue for me and am pleaseed to hear that it fits well and doesnt rattle, that alone is enough for me to get one. lol any chance you used it with an ipod yet? i take it you cant change the color on anything then? hows the UI, buggy? laggy? whenever you get a chance, some pictures would be awesome! :D

The only color you can change is on the eq spectrum. Also tried plugging in my fiance iPhone 4s and it charges it but then again there was no music on there.

Dang 6000+ songs nice. I'll probably get me an Ipod some time soon. I will put some songs on the iphone and will update you on the ipod interface on the Rosen.

I got the Alpine installed in mine and really like it. Alot more watts, which pushes the factory speakers really well and didnt have to upgrade to amps or different speakers. I think mine is the 900 model and got it in late 2010 just after I got the truck. Had a couple of minor issues with the ipod staying synced. The temporary solution was to unplug the ipod and then plug it back in. Somewhat of a hassle but it doesnt happen to often. When it first stated happening, I notified the installer and they replaced the stereo, but it still continued to do it. So for now, I just deal with unplugging it for a few seconds then plug it back in. It probably happens about once a month so no big deal. As for the GPS-Navi antenna, they installed mine behind the stereo under the dash so you cant see anything from the outside. So I keep the factory look in that aspect, but if you see my truck, you will know its not factory anymore. LOL. Hope this helps.

Whipper that's what I want to know also. I think I'm right behind you with the song count on the ipod. Lol. It just stays in the truck hooked up to my pioneer, so I am also really Intetested in the ipod interface and searching for music. I love my pioneers interface, so hopefully the rosen unit has a decent search. So far, it looks and seems like an awesome unit. I'm :jellydance:

Yes it was plug n play. As far as will it work with jbl yes but require an additional harness adapter. For Bt it will disable it so the button on the steering wheel is useless but the built in Bt on the Rosen has the function to pick up and end call on the track up track down on the steering wheel if that make sense.

So far it's still great. I plugged in my brother's itouch just the other day and it sounds amazing and worked flawlessly. You can search playlist, artist, albums, and songs. The ipod screen locked up on me once and I reset the system. Now it's working fine again. I think it locked up because the itouch may not be compatible. As far as fitting solid in the dash, yes it good. Looks better then a having a dash kit to me. No rattles yet.

Awesome man! Glad to hear your enjoying it and it works great. I think ill be gettin one very soon then. :) I agree about the dash kit. That's what's driving me crazy about mine. It rattles and moves. It's the best looking one (Scosche) but still not the best fitting.

Few more questions.. :D. I swear ill be done after this.. lol.

    How's the navigation?

Can you search alphabetically through the ipod.. (like specifically search V for Van Halen instead of scrolling through them all) sorry if thats what you meant about searhing. Lol

    Is there an Equalizer?

    Thanks again man. Enjoy.
