    I love NY. I was born in NJ and lived in NY. Wish I could have spent my whole life there and was there now. Too expensive though. FF funerals are always difficult for me but it when it's your own kin it's a million times harder.

    I'm definitely gonna enjoy seeing my family. I had just told my cousin 2 weeks ago I'm planning a visit soon. I haven't been back there since 2009. NYC will always have a piece of my heart. I named one of my kittens Brooklyn. :D Cos my daddy was born and raised there.

    Lol it's very different ... I never lived in Manhattan. Tooooooooooo expensive for me. I looked at a studio apartment in the mid 90's. My friend had one that was rent controlled and was paying almost $3000 a month. :eek: The town I'm going to Monday is Nyack. It's 20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan just cross the Tappan Zee bridge.

    Lol I love the piece and quiet....... I left a bigger city in GA to live in the country. Columbus. It's a town that has outgrown itself. Has a lot of hood. I've seen the south side hood start to creep tooooo far north for my taste.
