Cosmetic stuff.... best part HomerTaco Raptor Grille. Need to get a lift, armor and lockers.
I chickened out. I saw $825 I think for the pioneer and thought oh alright I can do that. But after the wiring harnesses for the steering wheel controls, xm radio, blue tooth and the dash kit, then installation cause I don't trust myself to do it myself... a local shop quoted me at just over $1100.... Garmin GPS $139. :goingcrazy:

Usually I'm a big fan of "go big or go home" but DAMN lol I don't have that kinda cash to be throwing down. Even if i did I'd put $1100 into a lift not a fancy stereo. :yay:

Maybe down the road I'll change my mind.... time will tell.

If you hear a difference in the different brands they seen beig set up properly, there is a very slight chance of hearing a difference that is barley audible to the human ear if you are using factory speakers and no amps but still fairly unlikely Nd easy to correct with some eq adjustments kind of wasted effort anyway though since the factory speakers are the weak link it won't really sound better until they are gone. Again yeah slightly but not enough to be worth a grand if improving sound was the goal 1000 would be much better spent adding speakers and amps to the factory deck.

Dude you can do it yourself it is simple and if you are comfortable online you can get the parts a little cheaper. Which pioneer are you looking at. If its the 930bt 1100 installed with the xm tuner isn't really a bad deal. Here are lots of shops that charge 400 for basic install, 175 for steering wheel controlls on top of the adaptor and 220 for xm Install
