I took my 1 week old Toyota Tacoma in for an alarm install today. I refused to be bent over by the dealer. I'm so glad I did I saved $70 based on the dealer price. The job done was in an hour, and he cleaned up the wiring butcher job I would have been stuck with had I went with the one the dealer installed. Next I will be adding an electronic tailgate lock, and running some 8ga wire from the battery to the bed to connect to an Anderson powerpole rigrunner (if you don't know google it) I'm mounting in the top to the front little bed cubby.

Did the projector retrofit with HID;s. From the deals page..

only crappy cell pics for now. still need to go aim them and clean up the wiring.

FYI: these are so called "bolt in" didnt need to do any cutting, just remove and open and install new projectors then seal and wire it up!

So far I like it. Navigation is a little slow and that's pretty much it. I didn't really get a chance to really mess with the interface as I still have a cold.

I just installed the revtek lift yesterday. It came back with front end tire noise that is new. Yes they did rotate tires and allignment. Hope this noise is just from the rotation and will go away. The installer also suggested a balancing. We will see...

Shaved her clean. All badges removed.

I don't need no stinkin badges!

Plus, the plastidip crap was starting to wear off the rear emblems.

Today I wired my third brake light on my snugtop shell. I remover my driver's side tail light to access the brake wire and ground wire. I used splicers to do the hook up. Then I ran a wire from the battery via a 15amp fuse to run my shells interior light anytime I want. Ran the wire through the frame below the battery and back out through the tail light. I am not real happy with the wires coming out of the upper tail light corner into the bed. Other people have done just that, but I am going to get a rubber grommet and drill a hole @ the top of the bed and run wires through that , when I get @ to it.
